Spanish
Spanish, or “Español”, is a Romance language descended from Latin in the Indo-European language family. It’s spoken all across the world and has around 500 million native speakers.
Spanish is an extremely diverse language, spoken in many different countries, and is also one of the most commonly studied foreign languages.
Spanish is generally considered to be quite straightforward to learn from English, thanks to many common Latinate words and a relatively similar structure overall.
